Validation update installation failes after cloning hard drive

Question
-
I installed a new, larger Seagate hard disc in my computer a few days ago. I cloned my older smaller seagate disc to the new larger disc. After a few days I received a popup notifying me that my copy of Windows needed to be validated. I clicked on the "resolve online" link and was prompted to download a package. The package downloads, but fails to install. Error message is 0xC8000247.
OS is Windows 7 Ultimate. Output from MGADiag is below:

The common cause for these mismatches is a faulty Intel Rapid Storage Tech driver
Download and install the latest version from....
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?ProductID=2101&DwnldID=20624&lang=eng&iid=dc_rss
then run another MGADiag report and post the results.

This worked perfectly. the download and installation of the driver was very quick. About an hour later, the validation window popped up on my desktop. I chose "Resolve This Online Now". The download and installation of the verification tool was successful, where the installation had previously failed. Windows is now validated as genuine and all is good.
Thank you very much for your help.
