Resolved KB934238 wont install I think!! RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • OK, I tried all Darin said and like the rest, it was not working. As Darin stated better to put in another MS forum. However, I did a little deFective er detective work and found that the error had mostly to do with the XPS Print driver.

    1. Remove XPS printer from Printers and Scanners in XP or wherever it is in Vista.
    2. Run WinUpdate and Do not install KB934238 when it shows up as a priority
    3. Take note if additional updates for DotNet Framewrk 3 and or 2 is available. If so download both and install. You will then have to reboot.
    4. When you reboot and go to winupdate the KB934238 update will not be there to install.

    Resolved my peeps

Note if you want to download XPS printer again, let me know what happens. I do not use so I am not going to go that far.
