Unattended installation of CRM Outlook Client for CRM 2011 Online (Office365) RRS feed

  • My client is experiencing problems with unattended installation of CRM Outlook Client for CRM 2011 Online in new environments (Office365 authentication method - without federation ADFS)

    Everything was working with OnPremise (I done it couple of times) but this is a first time which I was asked to help with Online. 

    Main problem is with authentication. I found MS Technical blog article but it's related to WLID (Windows Live ID not Office365 which I'm using).


    Second issue is that my client is having Windows XP which don't have Credentials Manager.

    We have package and we can push but problem is with configuration because in xml answer file we cannot pass username/password only organization name. Process is failing due to authentication. 

    Can someone was able to resolve this problem ?
