error 'more than 1 CRM user for same AD account' during organisation import RRS feed

  • Question

  • After installing CRM 4 I installed Connector voor SQL Server Reporting Services and then I want to import an organisation. Connecting old CRM accounts to new AD accounts, I can connect the new 'administrator' (= built-in administrator domain account) without a problem but I cannot connect another domain administrator account that I created ('crmadmin'). When I try I get the error message that I am trying to connect more then one CRM account to the same AD account although this is not true as far as I am aware.

However: this is only so for one 'existing crm user account', I CAN connect this AD account to an OTHER existing CRM user (but I don't want to connect these data to that account). Both users that existed before in CRM are setup now again as windows users in the AD. Maybe some user setting is different now? How and what to check?

    Why? How to solve?

  • hi just check if your GUIDS might not be the same for both users in AD

  • There should not be any problem for mapping users from other domain.

Did you ever opened CRM Application using 'crmadmin' account?

I doubt this might be one of the reason why you are not getting recognised by CRM as a user eventhough you might be a user at AD..
