Vlookups and combo boxes RRS feed

  • I realize this may be a very basic question but forgive me if it is.  I have created a spreadsheet with different fields.  One of the fields I have is a combo box list (created not in VB but by doing Design Mode > Insert > Combo box).  I want other fields to be populated based on the selection that the user makes from this field.  From that selection, other fields will be populated with information that depends on the selection made in that field. 

    As I have been experimenting with it, I got it to work just fine if you manually enter the text in the field on which the others are based.  But this defeats the purpose of speed, so if anyone has any information on how to combine these, I would be deeply appreciative.

  • You should be able to do it using Macro recording in excel. Currently, we only support you click on buttons to call Keyword services platform (if that is what you asked.)
