crm 2011 automatic untrack of forwarded crm emails RRS feed

  • If a user u1 creates a new activity for another user u2, crm sends an email using outlook. If the creating user u1 forwards this email (from his sended emails), the forwared email will also be automatically tracked in crm.

    Is there any easy way, to stop the tracking automatically?

  • Hi,

    Yes, what happens is that CRM is using the smartmatch feature and automatically track the emails. With CRM 2011 you can disable the smart matching from the settings menu.

    Another place to check is the user CRM Outlook client local settings (if CRM client is installed)
