Bug in font selection

Question

I think this has been mentioned before, but I can't find it anywhere, so I'll point it out again:
If you open the post editor, scroll down, then try to select a font, you can't see the drop down. Same for font size. It appears off screen.
Using FF 3. (But I'm pretty sure it used to happen on 2.x also)

I have FireFox 2 and if I open the font selection drop down list in the post editor, then the drop down list scrolls along scrolling the thread posts with browser scroll bar. If I first scroll the page down, the drop down list appears above the post editor - or don't appear anywhere if the thread is long, I suppose.Tuesday, July 1, 2008 11:00 AM

Oops, I just realised I posted this in the suggestions forum by mistake. If someone could move it to the Bugs forum, that would be great.
@Silvercode: Hmm, are you saying that it works correctly if you first open the Dropdown while being scrolled at the top of the page?
It doesn't work either way for me in FF3. Not sure...

Yes, I bugged this before:

A pretty serious bug, IMHO. It happens only on Mozilla browsers, not on IE6 (haven't tried on IE7). On IE6 the dropdown initialy appears in the right position, but if you scroll then it scrolls with the main window.

Also one usability issue is that the font drop down list doesn't close if I click again the open font selection list -button. That works in some programs, but not in many. Naturally I don't want to open the list again if it is already open so the obvious functionality would be to close the list if I don't want to select anything after all.Tuesday, July 1, 2008 11:29 AM
