Hello razperson124,
Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:

Office Diagnostics: 77F760FE-153-80070002_7E90FEE8-175-80070002_B4D0AA8B-604-645_025D1FF3-230-1_E2AD56EA-765-d003_E2AD56EA-766-0_E2AD56EA-134-80004005Your installation of Office Enterprise 2007 on your Dell Precision M4400 computer is a nongenuine installation. It is a volume licensing installation that was done with an Invalid Volume Licensing Key. An Invalid Volume Licensing Product Key is one that was generated by software pirates using a program called a key generator, or KeyGen for short. This product key was never officially issued by Microsoft, making it Invalid.
Normally, legitimate users of Volume Licensing editions of Office are associated with larger business, educational, or governmental organizations. If that's you, please contact your organization's IT support staff for further assistance.
If your use of this installation of Office Enterprise 2007 is not associated with a larger business, educational, or governmental organization, and you purchased the installed copy of Office Enterprise 2007 thinking that it was a retail license for Office Enterprise 2007 to be sold to individual consumers, it is likely that you are a victim of software piracy and/or counterfeiting. As an individual consumer, you should never have been sold Volume Licensing (VL) materials such as the VL installation disc and you certainly should not have received a Invalid Product Key. You should have been sold Genuine retail licensed software.
If so, your first course of action is to confront your seller with this information and demand a full refund.
If the seller refuses to help, please file a piracy report at www.microsoft.com/piracy. Also, depending upon whether you received "high quality" counterfeit materials, you may qualify for the Office Complimentary Offer or for the Office Genuine Advantage discounted offer. Please see the FAQ here: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/FAQ.aspx?displaylang=en#ID0EKNAC If you think that you qualify for the Genuine Office Offer, apply for the Offer thru the Learn More Online link that the OGA Notifier is displaying.Because you wrote that you purchased Office directly from Dell when you bought the laptop, one other possibility is that at one time your computer did have a Genuine installation of Office installed, but for some reason it was replaced with the current installation which is nongenuine. This could have happened if you took your computer to a repair shop and they reinstalled Windows and/or some or all of your programs. We know for sure that the currently installed Office did not come from Dell because Dell does not sell Volume Licensing software to individual consumers. You should be able to Get Genuine once again by uninstalling the current nongenuine installation of Office and using your Genuine Microsoft hologrammed Office installation CDs, along with the genuine Product Key found on your Office Edition's Certificate of Authenticity, to put back the genuine installation of Office you may have already had on the computer.

Makes no sense. I am having Dell look at this. This computer is only 2 months old. I have not reinstalled windows nor outlook and the issue is Outlook 2007 anyways as Windows validation key is ok but not Outlook's. The software package from Dell was not even openned. Do I have to uninstall Outlook first? How do save my data; settings etc.
Thanks.

Hello razperson124,
Your computer has Office Enterprise 2007 installed, and the Outlook on your computer is not a stand alone installation of Outlook, but it is a component program of the installed Office.
You wrote, "The software package from Dell was not even openned." Can you describe the softwre package and the disc(s) inside (but don't post the product key). How much did Dell charge you for Office (knowing how much is a good way to cross-check what they installed and shipped)?

The bundle says Microsoft Office 2007 Professional and Adobe Acrobat 9.0 STD [410-1862][420-6712] which is their item nos. The Invoice does not break out each component just a total price.
I have uninstalled Office Enterprise and reinstalled from the disk and reinserted the key and everything now works fine but I am at a loss as to how this occurred in the first place two months after I started using the laptop. I never installed Office Enterprise in the first place and when I had the data transfered from the previous laptop I entered the key from the disks below, so go figure!
The discs are (1) Microsoft office professional 2007 and (2) Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager. I only re-installed disc 1.
Thanks for your help.

Hello razperson124,
You wrote, "...when I had the data transfered from the previous laptop..." which implies (to me at least) that some third party or other person did the data transfer for you. Any chance that person could have switched your OEM Office Professional with a bogus Office Enterprise?
