    Our customers send flat files which need to be imported into CRM. Currently I am manually firing the SSIS Package as and when a customer sends a file in. What id like is to be able for my staff to just run a workflow that would fire the SSIS.

    Setting a scheduled task in SQL is not an option as the customers require conformation of file details within minutes.

    Does anyone know of an example workflow that will fire a SSIS, or maybe a ribbon button to fire the SSIS ..

    Dont ask me .. i dont know

    I dont think it is a good idea to run a workflow to find files from filepath or starting an SSIS package. Rather you could develop a windows service with filewatcher which could trigger when a new file is added to the folder and trigger packages that are configured.
