Data Entry From BackEnd In Sync RRS feed

    Hello,

I have a project with bi-directional sync using SQLExpress 2005.  While undergoing QA, it was observed that data frequently does not sync consistently when it is entered via the back-end of SQLExpress.  If the data is changed via a stored procedure then the data seems to sync.  My question is whether or not there is a different process in inserting and/or updating data via the backend versus the stored procedures.  We have no intention on having users enter data directly into the back end of the database but are trying to eliminate other possible inconsistencies with the sync.

    Thanks,

    cj

  • Hi,

Can you please provide more details?  Are you using Sync Services for ADO.NET?  Which version?  Do you have a reproducable case?
