MSCRM 3.0 to MSCRM 4.0 Upgrade RRS feed

  • Hi
    I jst want to know for Upgrade mscrm 3.0 to 4.0. Do we have to run any upgrade wizard or we have to run mscrm4.0 setup directly
    if there is any upgrade wizard from where I cn download it?

         You will just need to run the MS CRM v4.0 setup wizard.
    I would recommend downloading the Implementation Guide and reading chapter 2 of Microsoft_Dynamics_CRM_IG_Installing.doc for full details about the steps for an upgrade.

    6. On the Welcome to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Setup page, select whether you want to update Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server Setup. We recommend that, if updates are available, you let Setup download the latest version. To do this, click Update installation files, wait until the update process is complete, and then click Next.

    7. Type your license number in the License code boxes, and then click Next.

  • could u please give me a brief..as m not clear..even after referin to implementation guide...

    how to start upgrade.. suppose i run mscrm 4 setup... now wat to do next..
