Site has correct LiveSearchSiteAuth.xml file but will no longer verify

Question
-
Hi,
My site www.slshop.co.uk has the correct LiveSearchSiteAuth.xml file as can be seen by visiting:
http://www.slshop.co.uk/LiveSearchSiteAuth.xml
However, when I view my site via the Webmaster Tools (http://webmaster.live.com/webmaster/WebmasterManageSitesPage.aspx), I am presented with the message 'We were not able to verify your site. Make sure you've uploaded the LiveSearchSiteAuth.xml file or inserted the verification meta tag'.
I didn't used to have this problem, when I first uploaded the LiveSearchSiteAuth.xml file it worked fine.
Any ideas why it is no longer working?
Thanks

Hi, have you tried deleting and adding your site back in our tools? I also noticed that you aren't in our index, so I have submitted a few URLs to our index.

Hi,
I have just tried deleting and adding my site back in after which I uploaded the a new LiveSearchSiteAuth.xml file containing the new authentication details, but I still have exactly the same problem. Any further ideas? Thank you for submitting some URLs, maybe it will work for you, I keep trying but I've never managed to get my site listed on live.com!
Thanks

Hi Steve,
Sorry for the delay. Have you verified that you are not blocking MSNbot or blocking Msnbot’s IP range? You are not being blocked from our end (i.e banned).

Hi Brett,
I am not sure how to go about verifying I am not blocking the bot or the ip range, however as I wrote the web site I know I haven't put anything in to the site to block any bots or ip ranges, there is also nothing in the robots.txt file that would block the bot.
I have checked the log files to see if it would shed any light on the problem.
When the msnbot visits the auth file, the following is recorded:
2008-12-04 18:49:08 10.2.5.20 GET /LiveSearchSiteAuth.xml - 80 - 65.55.209.238 msnbot/1.1+(+http://search.msn.com/msnbot.htm) - 406 0 64
When I visit the auth file using a browser, the following is recorded:
2008-12-04 20:57:55 10.2.5.20 GET /livesearchsiteauth.xml - 80 - 82.43.227.250 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+7.0;+Windows+NT+6.0;+SLCC1;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727;+Media+Center+PC+5.0;+.NET+CLR+3.0.04506;+InfoPath.2;+.NET+CLR+3.5.21022) - 200 0 0
The main difference I can see is the status code is 406 when the bot visits the auth file. Could this be the cause of the problem? If so, have you any idea how I could fix this?
Thanks

Hi,
We upgraded our authorization process recently, so maybe this issue is fixed. I suggest deleting your site and re-entering it into your site list. Download the resultant .xml file and place it in the root. If that doesn't work, I will see if I can get a dev to take a look.

Hi,
I have deleted and re-entered my site and uploaded the new xml file to the root of my site, but it still isn't working.
