MGADiag.exe says OK, but still getting error RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a legtimate copy of Office 2003, and the MS Diagnostic tool says it is genuine.  But I'm still getting an error everytime I go to run any Office program telling me it's not genuine.  I also have the same program installed on my laptop and I'm not getting the error there.  What can I possibly do?

  • I'm all set.  I can't believe the nightmare, though.  MGAdiag reported it genuine yet again, then i went to start Excel and got the "not genuine" message once more.  This time I clicked on Learn More, and got to a web page that said Validation Successful.  After this I have not received the "not genuine" expiration message.  Microsoft needs to clean up the code on the the tool.  I should never have received the message in the first place.  But especially after running MGADiag.  I just hope I'm clear of this finally.  As I said, I never received it on my laptop.

  • This is the tool that report my Office to be genuine.  I'll have to do this when I get home from work, and then I'll post it here.  Thanks!
