  • I downloaded first ONE CARE several months ago (in springtime last year, if I remember well) and after several days I canceled it, due to some conflicts with other software. Now I downloaded it again, for to ascertain whether now I can run it smoothly. To my surprise, I'm being warned that the 90 days trial expired and requested to pay. In fact from your side you are evaluating as I had used the software since the past springtime, which is'nt true. Why I have to pay, even if the actual trial period was of several days only?

  • The trial period began on that PC when you first installed it. Even if your remove OneCare before the 90 days have elapsed, the calendar continued to count days. So, an install at a later date, after the 90 day countdown, will require a subscription as the trial period was over 90 days from your initial install. The only way around this, that I'm aware of, is to format the PC or use the trial on a different PC.
