Has anyone installed/starting using the HPC 2012 SDK? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've just installed it (and this is my first time trying this, so bear with me).  In Control Panel it shows as installed, and there's a folder in Program Files called Microsoft HPC Pack 2012 SDK.  However, in that folder, I went to look for some sort of guidance as to what to do next, and opened the docs folder to find one .chm file.  I opened that and I get a help file titled "Microsoft HPC Pack 2008 R2 SDK".   ?!?   And even that's just a single page.  1. Shouldn't that be 2012?  And 2. Is there a better place for me to start and get an idea of how this works?  There's not even any sample code released yet.  :-(

  • I got a response from MS that they're aware of the issue, and apparently it's only on the offline docs (still have to check the online - I work offline by default because our dev machines aren't online).  Offline should be fixed in a future release.
