Email router promoting old emails (not repeats) RRS feed

  • I have a client with Exchange Online (Office 365) and Dynamics Online.

    We have set up 2 email routers in Azure virtual machines.

    This client gets a high volume of email traffic which needs to be put in the CRM hence the 2 email routers to handle load.

    It seems that old emails are being promoted to CRM which weren't at the time the email was received. The is custom code which runs when the email is promoted to CRM which is falling foul as the emails are theoretically out of date.

    Has anyone seen this before, spot a problem in my logic with two email routers or point me in the right direction to solve this?

    Is there any further information that would be useful here?
