different ID not recognized RRS feed

    The free trial OneCare installed on my pc expired some months ago and I no longer use the ID I used to install it.  Now, when I attempt to install and activate a paid subscription on the same pc, using a different ID that I've had for some time...I'm unable to.  I get all the way to the point where it tells me that I need to acquire a new Live ID to activate the installation and can't get it to recognize the one I have.  It appears to be running but, continues to tell me that my computer is at risk, the OneCare balloon is red, and I'm at my wit's end and ready to use some other product. HELP!
