OneCare problem or Computer problem

I am running Windows Vista and I just noticed a problem with OneCare. When asked to perform a Complete scan of my system, OneCare stops at 37% completed and then states the scan is completed and that OneCare has not found anything harmful. What could be the problem?

I suggest uninstalling One Care, running the cleanup tool - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/onecareinstallandactivate/thread/399071e2-49dc-4767-932d-d261e3965943 then reinstalling One Care.
