N/Anow OBVIOUSLY like many users I see on-line today this is not an unusual item to see on the computer. and is not a VIRUS or WORM....However the ways to resolve issue for me are impossible. Why? because my ex-girlfriend has all the disks at her house (if she hasn't tossed them) and she will not allow me to come over to retrieve them. (the person who installed the XP PRO on my computer is an Microsoft Certified Professional and I have NEVER SEEN THIS ISSUE BEFORE......) Dell, refuses to work with me on this issue and I honestly cannot afford the "greatly reduced price software" and, Don't feel that I should have to as I KNOW ALL SOFTWARE HAS BEEN GENUINE EITHER THROUGH DELL or the install disk RECEIVED FROM DELL. Why should we have to pay for getting screwed. ?????

Hello jimssaying wtf,
If the CoA on the Dell laptop is for XP Pro, try the Product Key Updater utility: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=45668
