    Question

  • Hello

I've got a labtop that to work i have to deativate its processor in Device Management Menu. Yeah, sounds weird but it does the trick, i've done it before.

But now i've changed the hard drive, so a have a new windows.  And the deativated processor aint deativated no more.

Problem now, is that i can't get labtop to start so i can go to the device management in windows and deativate it.

The labtop keeps rebooting before windows starts.

But i can go to Command Line. So my question, is, do you know any way of deativating a device thru the command line?
Any command? Thank you, sorry for my english, not my main languange.

    Best Regards

  • Hello,

The Windows Desktop Perfmon and Diagnostic tools forum is to discuss performance monitor (perfmon), resource monitor (resmon), and task manager, focusing on HOW-TO, Errors/Problems, and usage scenarios.

As the question is off topic here, I am moving it to the Where is the Forum... forum.
