New entity created in CRM to show as contact in Outlook RRS feed

  • I have created a new entity in CRM which does show in Outlook under Microsoft CRM Folders but my problem is when I want to email the contact for which I have a email signature set up in Outlook when I look in the address book this does not show as a contact. Accounts and Contacts do show so how do I get this entity to do the same.

  • Hi,

    First of all make sure that you have enabled the activites in custom entity. Secondly email cannot be directly sent to any custom entity (CRM 3 limitation) but you can set the regarding field of the email to set to any custom entity.
