Need help working this business process flow problem - can't lock fields. RRS feed

  • We have this really irritating problem with locking form fields and enabling the process flow. I am not sure this can be remedied but making a post to see if it can anyway.

    Some of our customers use the new process flow in CRM 2013. We're having an issue where if a field is locked on the form via scripts, the user is still able to input data through the process flow. For instance;

    If a field is locked on the main form, it is not locked in the process flow. This is causing some security issues for us as users are then able to enter data when the form should be locked. 

    Here is a quick example that I mocked-up to demonstrate the problem:

    I locked the VAT Scheme field onLoad - although it's worked for the actual form, it hasn't for the process flow.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Not sure why you would use this field in the FlowUI if you're not planning on changing it?
