Vista Encrypted folders do not appear green as they should with mesh installed. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Done a 'feedback' form for this one, but just discovered these forums so thought I would pop it here too, see if anyone knows a solution.

When mesh is installed on my Vista Business machine, and I have some folders encrypted using standard windows encryption they do not appear with green text as they should do.

As soon as mesh is uninstalled the green text reappears again.

(I do have the explorer 'Folder Options' -> 'View' -> 'Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color' option selected throughout.)

Many thanks, its a shame I cant use both systems at the same time at the moment.

  • Hi,

Thanks for the feedback.  This should be fixed in the next version of Live Mesh (which will be released within a week or so).  If you still see this happening after you install the next version of Live Mesh, though, please let me know.

  • Hi Ian,

We have made some small changes to Live Mesh, and I apologize for the confusion: I was referring to our next major version update, which will be available shortly....

    Thanks for you patience,

    Ben.
