having trouble getting sync framework dll's to show up in "Add Reference" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Running vs2010 RTM, I can't seem to get the Microsoft.Synchronization.dll and Microsoft.Synchronization.Files.dll to show up in the list (specifically, v2 of them.  v1 shows up just fine).  I have my project .net version set to 3.5.  The project type is class library.

I installed both the 32 and 64 bit sync framework sdk's, and I can see it create the directories:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Microsoft Sync Framework\2.0\Runtime\x86

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Microsoft Sync Framework\2.0\Runtime\x64

  • This looks like it could be a bug, we'll look into it and try to address for our next release.

In the meantime you'll simply have to browse to the appropriate DLL's in Program Files.
