Status change request RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I want to implement something like:
    1. An user that is not administrator log in into crm and make a change status request for an account
    2. When an administrator user log in he will see all of those status change requests and approved or not

    Does anybody know how to make this using the crm ui?

    Thanks!

  • Create a new status field (picklist) which is editable by all users. The built-in status field should not be editable by all the users but only by Administrator. You can do this with the help of some JavaScript.  Whenever any users changes new status field, an email will be sent to Administrator for approval. Administrator will than change the built-in status field depending upon the approval.

    There are many other options also which are explained in my following blog post;

  • Just like in the real world, first impression can mean everything. Traditionally, business applications were more focused on providing a robust,trusted and feature-full application, while the user experience was sometimes neglected. But with the explosion in the usage of the web and the development of user friendly web applications, business application developers could not ignore the user’s experience any more.
