Live Meeting video streaming RRS feed

  • Question

  • Does anyone know of a solution to stream video through Live Meeting?  I'm asking because we have an agency that would like to offer remote learning to their satellite offices and they would like the ability to play a video from their remote site.  Any ideas (even if not through Live Meeting) much appreciated.   Thank you!!

  • If it's at an addressable URL such as a media stream, and your browser can render it, you can use the Web Page share of Live Meeting to distribute the stream.  As an example, start a Live Meeting then go to Share/Web Page and enter http://www.evangelyze.net/test.html as the URL.  I picked a random video off YouTube and embedded it into an html file, but you could use an mms:// URL for Windows Media or other URL that is recoginzed by the browser.

  • Hi,

here is a posting of someone who did this in Livemeeting 2005, the same logic applies for Livemeeting 2007

Also if you have the video file itself you can simply share Windows Media Player while playing the video..
