Windows 7 Apparently not Genuine? RRS feed

    I bought a new laptop with Vista installed onto it at the end August last year (2009), and it came with the the option to get Windows 7 for a small price with Acer (so it is a genuine copy). Untill now it has been fine, but then today when starting up, it said that my copy of windows 7 was not genuine. This cant be the case becuase I bought the copy from Acer, how was doing this deal with all Vista laptops at the time.
    Why is it doing this?

    P.S whether you need this information, I dont know, but i have an Acer Aspire 7535 laptop and the CD that you need to install the copy of Windows 7.

      To better understand what's going on with the issue, would you download and run the Genuine Diagnostics tool (MGADiag.exe) at this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012. Click "Continue", click the "Copy" button then “Paste” the report into a reply message in this thread.
