Why two MSDN Forums? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I like to use one MSDN forum (this one), the one that links directly off the Forums link on the MSDN community page.

It's a great forum but doesn't cover many areas. :(

    forums.msdn.microsoft.com

There is a nother forum which is older & covers many more areas, but I don't know where to access it fom in MSDN

    forums.microsoft.com/msdn

They seem to be entirely different forums. I like this one & it's easy to get to but it doesn't seem to cover as much ground as the other one.

What's the story? Are they two totally independant Microsoft forums? Is the second one legacy?

    Many thanks

  • Hey there Az,

Hmm talk about redundancy! I guess I can understand those two as being separate as technet is more for server technology & community seems to more regarding OS, but the two forums I posted above seem to be both for developers.

It seems they just spring up like mushrooms after the rain :)

    Thanks Az
