Validation Failure on Laptop Direct from Dell RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi have the above problem.  I've checked the COA and it's valid.  The results of the diagnostic tool are below.  Please help me to either a) validate the software or b) get rid of the incredibly annoying WGA software.

    Thanks,  Marc

  • Your COA may be valid, but your current Windows XP installation is not.  Someone apparently installed an illegal "Volume License" version of Windows XP Professional on your Dell computer.  I would suggest that you backup your important files, then use your original Dell Windows XP Reinstallation CD to perform a "clean install" in order to correct this situation.

    The red flags:

Genuine Validation Status: Blocked VLK Windows

    License Type: Volume
