Redeem my Bonus Pack Failure RRS feed

  • Question

  • I tried to Redeem my Bonus Pack and it failed even though I purcased this from a local PC Builder in my town. I am thinking it is cause by the non-OEM licence the computer came with. Is this why it is failing and am I still eligable for the offer?

  • Dear PsychicSword,

While going through open threads I discovered your post - which apparently did not receive a response. I am sorry if this issue has gone unresolved to date.

Your diagnostic indicates that you are running a Retail version of Windows Vista, which is ineligible. However, eligible - but unactivated - system-builder versions will appear as "retail" versions to the eligibilty check. Information on activating Windows can be found here.

After activating, please again attempt to redeem the offer. If you still have problems, please re-run the diagnostic report and post the new results here.

    Thank you,

    Jenifer
