CRM 2011: Workflow with creating activity and due date RRS feed

  • hello forum

    I'd like to create a Manual workflow which can be started from the contact entity. The workflow should create a Task with a due date plus x days. If I create the wf based on contact entity I cannot set the due date based on the creation date of the Task. Any hints?

  • You could use the execution date/time instead.

    When setting the due date..  you can choose a Dynamic value and then choose workflow execution date. That will be the activation date of the workflow.

  • Hi,

       This Step will help you to set the Due Date as per your Requirement.

    Here I am Setting the Due Date to be "7 Days after Contact Created on" date. You can change as per your need.
