I get a message that my windows 7 home premium is not genuine RRS feed

  • Hi, my friend bought for me windows 7 home premium from microsoft itself as part of a special offer for college students. I am using it already for more than a year, never had any problems. Today, i get a message the my windows is not genuine. I installed the genuine advantage ? software but stil the same. I can not contact microsoft as when they prompt me to enter the PID, they say its not legit and i need to pay for assistance.

    Again: My copy is from microsoft itself.

     

    what can/should  i do ? PLEASE HELP !

    To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
    Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
    To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
