You should also scan your system using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (www.malwarebytes.org - do NOT enable the resident scanner when you install it)
Also note that your motherboard appears to have been replaced at some point – and your system is using an COA_SLP license, which may mean that your installation is non-valid.

Yes, we had to replace the motherboard when the hard drive died, as it also had issues. Is there a way to make this a valid installation with the new motherboard?Friday, October 21, 2011 10:31 PM

Is there a way to make this a valid installation with the new motherboard?First cure the problem with Avast (if that’s present) then we’ll be able to see the wood through the trees :)The probability is that activation/validation will fail, because the Windows OEM License is tied to the first motherboard on which it is installed, and can only be moved to a new one under warranty conditions. This means that you would need to purchase a Full Retail Vista or Win 7 Home Premium package – if you can find a Vista one, simply use the Key from the new package to make the system genuine; If Win 7, then an Upgrade install with the new package should work.
