  • Having a lot of theme there in the computer will hardly effect the performance of the system but using them as default theme will use the resourses depending upon the graphical design of the theme

    For example a theme with glass effect will obviously take a toll of the OS but if you have at least 256 mb of ram and you are running XP them there is no problem in most of  the themes
