How to use opportunities to track Subscription Revenue RRS feed

  • I have a SaaS company and I want to forecast subscription revenue in opportunities. We bill quarterly and I need visibility on when my revenue will be billed on new opportunities.

    Any help here would be apprecated. I think I should use contracts with this but not sure how to implelement.

  • I'm not exactly sure what you're looking to do but you can emulate a subscription model by having workflow create a new opportunity every time an existing one is closed-won. Similarly with invoices.
