Folder added to Live Mesh has problems.

Question
-
I just added a folder to Live Mesh, but its contents, lots of Excel and saves of web pages in html files, dont sync online in the Live Mesh Desktop. Live Mesh correctly created the folder in the Live Mesh Desktop, but the files inside the folder dont sync to the Live Mesh desktop. I only have my PC syncing with my Live Mesh account right now. I dont want to recreate the folder in Live Mesh, I want to know first if there is a workaround for my problem. And another thing, I want to know if the Live Mesh program works in Windows 7 RC x64 and x86 versions.Friday, July 10, 2009 9:52 PM

It seems like all is in order on your machines, so the best that I can suggest at this time is to file a bug report with your logs:

How long ago did you add the folder to your Mesh?
Does the folder appear as a blue folder when you view it in Windows Explorer?
Do you have other folders in your Mesh and are they synchronizing/
Where is that folder located on your local drive? Is it within \Documents or similar?
Yes, Live Mesh works on all flavors of Windows 7.

The 8 of july I added the folder, it appears as a blue folder in the windows explorer, I have 5 folders in my Mesh, 3 of them are correctly syncing and the other 2 has the problem I mentioned in the first post. The folder is located in a separate partition, where all of my documents reside, all the folders of Live Mesh reside in that partition, the D:\ partition. Is very strange, the folder I first mentioned was the third folder I added to my mesh, and its failing the sync, the fourth I added, syncs normally and the last one doesnt sync also. My OS is Windows Vista Ultimate x64 edition.Saturday, July 11, 2009 5:23 AM

How many files are in the folders that are not synchronizing?
And what is the total used space showing for your account of the total 5 Gigs allowed?
I would remove the problematic folders from the Mesh and then add them back.

In the first folder, named Listas, has 4183 files in 174 folders and a size of 118 MB. The second folder has 188 files and 3 folders, all of them according to the Windows properties dialog box of each folder. I am using 912 MB of my 5GB, 18%. The folder Listas yesterday I deleted it from my mesh and added again, the same problem always. In the past, when I first used this service with my Windows XP machine, I had no problems syncronizing my files, the files where in the My Documents folder of Windows XP at that time. Later, with the Windows Vista OS I have now, with the same folder structure of now, I was syncing the files normally with no problems. Then I had a problem with the partition where my files reside, it was innaccesible for Windows, then I managed to repair it, and I needed to reconfigure again Live Mesh because it wasnt functioning well. And then I am here now, with the problem mentioned here in the first post. Thanks for helping me in this problem!.Monday, July 13, 2009 3:44 AM
