Link results in 404 error

Question

Hi everybody,
From this thread http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/Forums/ShowMessages.aspx?ThreadID=37243 there is a link to MSDN, but it results in 404 error.
I want to find thread in MSDN on InitConnection and I remember I participated in it, but I can not.
Thanks in advance.

I verified that the link to the thread is now functional. I'll post it here just in case (forgot why I needed it at that time):

This thing you mean?
http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1949769&SiteID=1
It wasn't even a link there, just text, and it looks obsolete to me, so even
if the thread still exists you would have to know the mapping from the old
forum onto the new. E.g. what was SiteID=1 before June 2008?

Have you tried using the new advanced search syntax? <eg>
I wonder if the "way back machine" keeps MSDN pages?
Apparently so!

(Microsoft search for
"way back machine"
)
Good luck

This link: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1949769&SiteID=1, is from the old Forums system. Not sure if there's a mapping in place for this link to the other thread in this Forum. I'll take a look but I doubt there's a mapping.
