There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the

You want to use the Legacy version of WWT for Windows XP systems: http://worldwidetelescope.org/Download/?Legacy
Do not attempt to install WWT 5.0 on Windows XP. (See note on both http://worldwidetelescope.org/Download/ and http://worldwidetelescope.org/Download/?Legacy).
Thanks,

What are the specs on your system?
So when you wrote "So uninstalled", did you use Control Panel -> Programs -> Uninstall -> WorldWide Telescope?
Also if there is a problem with the install package (msi file), did you try deleting the downloaded msi file (wwtsetup.5.0.3.msi) and then redownloading and reinstalling?
Thanks
