another new copy of one-care RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have one-care lnstalled and it came up for renewal. I got the bright idea to uninstall it and purchase a new copy of one-care for a lot less than the renewal. Any ideas on how to get this new copy working without it to continue to ask for renewal? I can not return the new one-care back to where I bought it since I have opened and installed it?

    Thanks

  • It was a good idea although it wasn't necessary to uninstall One Care. Go to billing - https://billing.microsoft.com/home.aspx double click your One Care account and select"Renew this service". When you get to the payment page select "Pre-paid PIN or Token" as the payment method. Enter the 25 digit product key from the CD and your subscription will renew.
