Question

Hello support
I'm runnin the windows update and validation on a computer of my neighbour.
It's a legitime version of (OEM) Windows XP Home.
But when running the guine dialog and guine advantage I get a clock and sync failed. When I alter the date I see the calendar is misformed.
it says that at this friday the 16 its actually on a saturday.
hence i cant validate.
if i put it on a saturday 16 th of 2007. it does not validate
if i put it on a friday the 15 th of 2007 (should be the 16th) it cant validate..
Can you help me for a solution?
Best regards,
Ed

Hi Edmond,
There does seem to be an issue with your Date setting (since your calander says March 16th 2007 is on a Saturday). I suggest opening a Service Request at https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?c1=509&gprid=9860 and see if we can't resolve the issue.
Thank you,
Darin Smith

Hello Edmond,
Just to confirm, did you go to www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag and click the "Resolve Now" button and followed the directions provided?
Also, can you confirm the Year is correctly set to 2007 as well as the Time Zone is correctly set for your region?
Thank you,
Darin Smith
