Force WLW to recognize lightbox?

    Question

  • How can I get my WLW to recognize that lightbox is installed.  I'm usign a custom solution but was wondering if I can "trick" WLW into recognizing lightbox being installed and start autoadding the ref="lightbox" tag.

  • Can you link me to your site so I can see how it is included?  There should be a way to do what you are asking.

  • Download and run this:
    http://www.joecheng.com/code/WriterTweakHelper.exe

    Select the blog you want to do this for, then Add the following (case matters!):
    Name=dhtmlImageViewer
    Value=Lightbox 2

    That should do it.

  • Oh, either that, or just rename your JS script file to "lightbox.js", then go to Blog | Edit Blog Settings | Update Account Configuration and walk through the configuration wizard. Writer uses the JS file name to determine whether Lightbox is available, so this should trick it.

  • I am using WLW because I am code challenged. I have Nextgen gallery and lightbox2 plugins installed and want to implement a lightbox slideshow on many of my posts. I tried the blog>setup wizard. What exactly do I enter where to place a slideshow on a post? Do I need to upload a gallery first? Here is my blog: http://www.tomtravel2.com/

    Everything else I have attempted to accomplish with WLW has been easy. I love the program and would like to get over this last hurdle.

  • How do we automatically copy the "title" from the image tag to the anchor tag?

    i.e. <a title="Buoy markers" href="$Buoy-markers[8].jpg" rel="lightbox[Pearl]">
