Changes to published Workflows RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I want to change a published workflow. If I unpublish it and then make changes in it and publish it again, what happens with the triggered workflows? Will they also behave in accordance with the latest changes? Thanks.

  • Workflows already 'in the wild' are unaffected by subsequent changes to the original workflow definition. This is one of the reasons why it is problematic to specify specific users for sending emails or changing ownership, expecially if wait conditions are involved.

  • Hi Akshay

If you do some change, then the workflow in future, will be executed for records which meet the condition specified in your workflow.

If you could explain your workflow logic, then it would be easy to look for impact.
