We are in the process of upgrading from 4.0 to 2011. Mail Merge templates have been modified, additional ones created etc in the 4.0 production environment. Is there any way to sync those templates with our 2011 environments that is used for testing ?
We will be taking a backup of our 4.0 production environment shortly , upgrading to 2011 and then importing the default solution from our 2011 environment. Prior to this last step we were going to remove all mail merge templates from the 2011 environment
thus leaving the templates the way they were from the production backup. I believe this will work but was wondering if there was any way on a case by case basis to manually transfer mail merge templates from a 4.0 environment to a 2011 environment.
