How get point for registering quiz @ Devsqure? RRS feed

    Can anybody help me concerning quizs held at Devsqure as i registered there still i didnt got any point for that and respective email id of moderator is also not responding

    are you sure you used the same email id for registering in the DevSquare that you have in the 4th field from the top in the EDIT user profile in student rockstar site ?
    both the email needs to be the same , only then the points will be updated, if youhave entered the email address which you use to login into rockstar, and have a different email address entered in that 4th field, then you need to use the email address that you specified in the 4th field for the points to be updated. same applies for other events also.

    @Yogesh you are mistaken ,
    you dont need to provide the passport while logging,. I have contacted the officials through email, and they have told me about it. For the proof, ill paste you the email that they sent me ;)

    Hi Harshil,

    What is important here is that you need to be identified by the system so that
    you get the points for your activities.

    The ID that you have entered inside the registration (4th field from top) for
    correspondance is the one that you will use to login for the quiz. You still
    dont have to worry, you can go to edit profile and change the E mail Address.
    You can continue to use <my_email_address_striped> but that should be your ID,
    otherwise edit the E-mail Address field and give your passport login ID. This ID
    will be used for further correspondance, quiz, passport etc.. so you have to
    remember only one ID. Try to use the same ID for Imagine cup and APP also.

    I am also saying the same that we need to fill is our (@msn.com) email id i.e. windows passport (also it is 4th from top). Please be clear Harshil...where i am wrong.

    Hey m8, the windows live passport ID is only used for LOGGING into your rockstar account. The email in your EDIT PROFILE page (4th field) / Email id in USER PROFILE (3rd field)
    CAN be different frmo the windows live passport you used to login into the rockstar site.

    You need to provide that id (4th field in EDIT PROFILE page / 3rd firld USER PROFILE page) for the quiz, or any other activities. For simplicity and to remember  it is better to use the same passport ID as the email id in your profile.

    I hope there is no doubts about it now.

    Ya, I am also using the email id of MSN with the help of which i logging to rockstar account and also provide to Quiz and for my correspondancd, But the forum email id to display is different.

    The forum email ID HAS to be different, because that is what is auto generated .
    And that is how MS will keep track of your forum work  :)
    but the quiz email ID needs to be same as the one you supplied in the PROFILE :)

    you need to use the email id you provided while registering and not your live id.... It could be a Yahoo Id or even a Gmail id or whatever..

    the quiz that is available normally is juz a trial...u get actual points for registering in the qiz conducted by MS at certain announced dates...
