Unable to Edit Profile Signature to include HTML

  • I participate in some forums on Microsoft Project and noticed that my signature had some erroneous characters.

    I used an on-line HTML editor to correct my signature but all attempts to update my TechNet Forums signature from the Quick Access > My settings page - profile signature section result in the page

    Being displayed when I save my changes - this is spectacularly unhelpful in a manner that only Microsoft seem to major in, what am I doing wrong and how can I get a signature to display?
