Tandberg / Polycom MCUs RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are looking at purchasing an MCU for our video conferencing infrastructure in general, and just wondering if anyone has any positive / negative experience regarding LCS integration with MCUs from these vendors?  I know OCS integration is in the works by both, but just looking to see if one has an edge over the other in terms of track records with LCS?

    Thanks, Ben.

  • Polycom MCU works great with LCS, it has many features and it is easy to use.

I know Radvision have a nice solution but I've never got to test it.

I guess Tandberg have a good MCU with LCS integration but I've look into it.

  • I would recommend Codian MCU where their logic is better in terms of integrating your endpoints. I have installed almost all brands of MCU's with LCS. Recently playing with OCS and MCU setups but still some gray areas exist

    My 2 cents
