Can you remove "Red Status at risk" when using another antivirus program? RRS feed

  • Question

  • My daughter is running Windows Live OneCare but is required by her college to run Norton Antivirus for virus protection.

Since her Windows Live OneCare virus protection is off, this causes her computer to be shown as "At Risk"

Is there any way to eliminate seeing the "At Risk" notice when you are using a different anti-virus product?

Thank you for visiting the Live OneCare program forum. Where I cannot support Norton products, I can say that if she is going to run Norton, she needs to uninstall OneCare. It is not a good idea to rum multiple antivirus/antispyware/antimalware programs.

Thank you for contacting the Live OneCare program forum.
