WHPCS 2008 Heat Map displayed on separate machine RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
Is it possible to display the Windows HPC Server 2008 Heat Map of a cluster on a separate machine that is not part of the cluster, but in the same AD?

This is so we can have a live display showing what a cluster is doing.

    Many thanks,
     Kenji

  • Yes you can.
You can achieve this by installing the HPC-Pack Client Utilities on a system outside the cluster, and connecting remotely with HPC Cluster Manager.

  • Awesome! Does that work on a 32-bit machine?
    Thanks,

  • Yes, 32-bit clients are supported (as are Windows XP and Windows 2003 clients).
