Cannot Update Content in Gallery RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have Content I am trying to update in my Gallery but when I click save it just spins till it times out. I have been trying every 30 minutes today and I can never save the new content. I have tried multiple browsers. Is there something wrong with the Gallery or is it normal behavior for it to just not work?

  • No, not normal. I'd send an email to tnfdback [at] microsoft [dot] com with problem details.

I have never been unable to modify one of my TechNet Gallery contributions, as long as I was signed in. When the Save times out, are you still signed in?

I have seen where edits to TechNet Wiki articles fail, and then I find I am no longer signed in. The system kicks me out for some reason. But I always can save when I sign in and try again.

I would email the admins at fissues [at] Microsoft [dot] com with details.

Edit: I was slow with my reply. I see Dave provided a better email address.

  • I am still signed in when this happens. It actually times out and says this error has been reported to blah blah blah and gives me a link to take me back to the gallery home page.
