I took a series of photos using point and shoot methods. Specifically, I walked along a somewhat curved path and photographed the view in front of me, taking one photo every three steps. I am wanting to preserve the scale of my original
photos in the stitched panorama produced by MicrosoftICE. After stitching together my photos using Simple Panorama auto-detect settings, I am brought to a viewing window under the STITCH tab. I am able to move the stitched panorama up, down, left,
and right and can also rotate it. This changes the panorama's scale, shape, and appearance when using the following projection settings: Cylindrical, Mercator, Spherical, Orthographic, Fisheye, Stereographic, and Perspective. How can I know
the position on this viewing window that will give me the most representative scale of my original photos?
Thank you!
Amy
